Charles and I had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend!
Saturday evening, Charles and I drove to Oakland for dinner at Country Catfish (an early anniversary present to Charles). It was delicious!
Sunday, we went to see the final
Shrek movie - in 3D. It was cute. Then, we fired up the grill a little early and had a delicious dinner of pasta and grilled vegetables...

Delicious!
Monday, we fired up the grill again and had a delicious lunch of Daddy's ribs, Ma's baked beans and ranch potatoes...

Ohhh, it was so good! I made Ma's sour cream pound cake for dessert. Part of it stuck to the pan, so it wasn't as pretty as I had hoped, but it tasted really good and made a perfect base for strawberry shortcake...
We had such a nice Memorial Day weekend and are so thankful for all those who have served in the military to defend our rights, freedoms and liberty.
