We had a great time!! We (along with everyone else in the theater - and it was packed as the show sold out quickly -- we bought our tickets just a couple of hours after they went on sale, and we were in the Upper Gallery - only a few rows down from the top seat in the house - the seats actually weren't that bad though - we were able to see just fine and were able to hear everything) were both laughing pretty much the entire time he was on stage - 1 1/2 - 2 hours. While he did mention Mork once (I loved watching Mork and Mindy), he never said those two little words - na-nu, na-nu. His routine was great- funny yet topical, relevant and intelligent, and he was a wonderful, energetic performer.
After the show, we ran into Robin and Cliff who also really enjoyed the show. It was great to see them and catch up a little!
While pretty much everything he did and said was hilarious, Charles and I especially enjoyed a joke he did about restless leg syndrome and how what does it do, cause you to break out in Riverdance - at which point he broke into an Irish jig...this was too funny because just Sunday, Charles and I were at the Orpheum watching Riverdance being performed on that same stage!
We had a great time at Riverdance too. I just love watching Irish dance, but it coupled with the story and music - the musicians were outstanding! - was amazing!! I am so glad that we were able to catch a performance of their last tour.
