Memphis Grizzlies Pre-Season Game 12-16-11

Charles and I were excited to hear that the NBA lock-out was over and were even more excited to watch the Memphis Grizzlies take the court... for their pre-season home opener against the Hornets.

Prior to the game, Mike Conley, Jr. addressed the crowd...

Then it was time for Memphis fans to get on our feet...

and cheer while the starting line-up was announced...

It was then time...

for the teams to take the court...

for tip-off.

Z-bo made the first shot of the game!

It was fun seeing Rudy Gay back in action...

with the Grizzlies!

Marc Gasol was cheering on his teammates from the sidelines...

We're glad that deal got inked.

The Grizzlies played well together

especially considering the limited practice time they had had due to the lock-out.

The Grizzlies had the lead coming out the the half...

We loved the entertainment...

and were thoroughly entertained by the flying feats of Grizz and the Elvi...

There were some amazing dunks!!

While the Grizzlies had a pretty good lead at one time...

they ended up losing the game to the Hornets.

But we still had a great time watching the Grizzlies grind!
