After checking out all of the ornament options, I chose mine and after a little more deliberation, Charles picked his... We cleaned our ornaments, got our brushes, picked our colors, and started painting...
After getting everything in order, we had to determine how to best execute our ideas...
Charles decided to try a stencil this year...
While I free-handed my entire ornament...
It takes concentration and a steady hand to paint those little ornaments!
Charles finished his ornament first, but I wasn't too far behind in finishing mine...
I got Charles to show off his handy work...
I think that they both turned out cute...
Hopefully, we can pick them up soon.
After a fun time painting our Christmas ornaments, we headed to Batesville to help Mama and Jerry decorate their tree. Then they treated us to a fish dinner at Country Catfish in Oakland which was really good, as always! We were there just a little after it opened at 4:00. We had to enjoy the early bird special so that Charles and I could make it back home in time for the Egg Bowl!
We made it back to Hernando in time to see the opening kick. Charles and I both were loudly rooting for our Dawgs! We were so glad that State won! The golden egg looks great in Starkville!!
