Goodbye, summer! Charles has started back to school and is getting back into the swing of things with a good group of students this year!
The weekend before school started back, I got to keep Ava for a little while. We had the best time!
I had Charles bring down our rocking chair, and as soon as Ava arrived at the house, we started rocking...
After a little rocking time, she had lunch, then a little floor time where I got lots of smiles and coos :) and tummy time, then a little more rocking time...
I had such a fun time keeping her (her Mama could have left her a little longer though :) ); she is just so sweet!

Hello, Peyton Dillon!
The first day of school for students, Peyton decided to make her debut! After waiting as long as we could for the Dillons to get settled in at home, we went for a visit and to meet Peyton and had the best time!
I enjoyed holding Peyton...
but I finally gave Charles a chance to hold her too...I enjoyed holding Peyton...
She is so sweet and just the best baby. We didn't hear her cry once, and her parents reported that she rarely cries and is eating and sleeping really well. She is just so pretty with a head full of hair!
We were glad to see that Peyton and her parents were all doing well. Her big brother Nathan is such a good big brother too! We heard that when the Dillons came home from the hospital, he led the way to show Peyton her new room - how sweet is that! He was too cute, and at one point during our visit climbed up while his mom fed Peyton and patted Peyton's head so gently. He had the best visit!
