Charles and I headed to Starkville for a quick trip to watch the Bulldogs' Open Practice.
We made it to Starkville on August 2nd and enjoyed a little Little Dooey's...
We then made our way to Cedar Cove and boy that tree outside my old apartment has grown...
We walked around campus...
stopping at the Chapel of Memories...
and remembering how much I LOVED getting mail in my mailbox my freshman year...
We talked about our fun times at the Union...
We took our picture with Bully...
and decided a kiss for luck in general had to be a good thing!
We walked around the Drill Field...
and fondly remembered meeting in Dr. Walls' class in Bowen Hall...
We caught Davis Wade Stadium at sunset...
BEAUTIFUL!
We then rode by my old apartment at The Commons...
Everything out that way has changed so much!
The next morning, August 3rd, we took a first look at the Dawgs!
We enjoyed seeing Dak Prescott...
and watching warm-ups...
and seeing DeShea in Maroon and White!!
We watched along with Dan Mullen...
as the Dawgs...
ran drills...
We spotted Kendrick Market throughout!
After finishing drills...
the team huddled...
then broke apart for more practice...
We watched the quarterbacks...
and focused on DeShea taking his group through their paces...
Then...
we watched...
a little scrimmaging...
After a fun time in Starkville, we stopped by
Tupelo for a visit with the Dillons!
Matt and Charles had just as much fun as the kids!!
Such a fun weekend!
