Friday night we headed to Memphis and enjoyed dinner at Dryers...
and enjoyed a delicious, greasy cheeseburger! We then walked to the Orpheum for a screening of Rocky Horror Picture Show. Once we walked inside the lobby, we knew it was going to be a fun evening! Everyone was getting into the spirit of the movie, and the Orpheum was completely packed with people...We had purchased our prop bags, so we got things ready prior to the movie...In addition to getting his props ready, Charles had his hands full with movie snacks...After getting settled in, we were introduced to the emcee for the evening...Too funny!! We then took in the girls' costume contest... The winner was a little 12 year old girl who dressed completely in character and could tap too!
Then we took in the guys' costume contest...
And finally it was time for the show...the people around us were really getting into the movie - singing the songs, dancing the Time Warp, screaming out lines...and, of course, we all threw a little toilet paper...

We just had the best evening!!
Earlier in the week, the fantasy football draft board came in, so Charles got it all set up...
We got the yard work done... and, thankfully, all the mums I planted earlier still looked great for Saturday's draft... Saturday morning, Charles set up some extra seats in the backyard...
while I finished preparing the snacks...We had honey ham roll-ups, party pizzas, cheese cubes, Goldfish, Doritos, bar-b-que chips and tortilla chips with salsa and guacamole...we also had peanuts, brownies, iced sugar cookies, congos, M&M's, caramels, and fruit dip with pineapple, grapes and strawberries...and sweet tea and pink lemonade to drink...I was so excited that I finally got a chance to use my pretty drink dispenser Mama gave me!

We were so glad that some were able to make it to the live draft!
Dan brought Collins for us to play with; he is so cute...He even helped his dad with his picks!David, Thomas and Shane all had their research ready to put to use...
and Charles was the draft's Vanna! Since he had to draft several teams for those who couldn't make it, he posted most of our stickers too...
The stress of having to pick all those teams finally got to him!! After many rounds of the draft, we took a little break and played some football...
Then Charles starting grilling the hamburgers and hot dogs...
They were delicious! After a bit, it was back to the draft!
and after much thought and some fun trash talk, we were finished...

I am so glad that Whit came to the draft and that Molly and Kristi were able to stop by for a while...
It was great visiting with them all!
Too bad Dan left a little early, later that evening, we took a Class of '95 picture!!
We had a great time at the draft and are looking forward to a fun fantasy football season!
After having so much fun Friday and Saturday and having so much activity, we decided to relax the rest of the long weekend. We did manage to enjoy the nice weather on Sunday though by playing a little football...

We still had last year's draft board (I know, but Charles keeps everything!), so Charles brought it out at the draft for everyone to look at and compare their current and past teams. Toula came out to play later that weekend, and enjoyed discovering the draft board. She was a little curious at first...
