Cinco de Mayo

Feliz Cinco de Mayo!!
I am just waiting for Charles to get home so that we can go to Guadalajara to celebrate! After all the Mexican food we eat, I think that we must celebrate Cinco de Mayo by enjoying some fajitas!! The funny thing is, my mom who has teased me for some time due to my fondness of Mexican food -- Mexico Tipico (Starkville), Tequilla's (Oxford) and Guardalajara (Hernando) beat me to the celebration by having lunch with Miss Denise (a friend of hers and Robin, my friend's mother) at Mi Pueblo in Batesville! Even better, she left a message for Charles and me wishing us a happy Cinco de Mayo and singing a cute little Cinco de Mayo song - it certainly brought a smile to my face!!

I think that Ma's Christmas cactus is turning into a Cinco de Mayo cactus!! I was so disappointed when this cactus didn't bloom at Christmas; I was afraid it might not make it much longer. But it seems to be doing better now, and gave us a nice surprise by blooming now...

Hi Charles and Megan,

LeAnna and Matt have a link to ya'll on their blog. I just want you to know how wonderful it is that the Torres have such wonderful friends like you two. I enjoyed seeing you at Patrick's Birthday party. Glad to hear you made it home safely during the storms,

Love,
